At the start of this resoration we stripped the boat to a bare shell with nothing more than a hull, a rub rail and some of the windsheild. Every wire, hose, nut and bolt has been replaced. The vessel started with no aft decks, no cabin decks and no cabin cabinetry.
A 256 gallon fuel tank was nested below decks. All plywood construction was completed with true marine plywood and BOTH sides of the decks were fiberglassed extensively. The deck panels are lift out after unbolting and are solid fiberglass construction resting on full 2x4" rough cut solid mahogany timbers. The decks can be opened up providing access to every inch of the boat.
The glass in the boat was pulled and replaced with custom fritted tempered glass and new lexan corner windows. The front windows open easily for fresh air.
New cabin decks were installed and 3/4" teak plywood cabinetry was custom constructed. A $10,000 seat package from Taco can be found upstairs and down.
The electrical system begins with all group 31 batteries connected to Bluesea electromagnetic nightswitches which are easily engaged from the captains seat by the push of a button.
An automatic charging relay handles charging loads and voltage allotment which guarantees you cannot drain down any start batteries. A xantrex Charger/Inverter manages charging states of the batteries. At the dock it thinks its a charger, unplug from the dock and now its an inverter. Charging state can be viewed from the captains seat at all times.
4 Garmin 9" displays can be found throughout the boat, all networked to 2 garmin ethernet hubs and a NMEA2000 network. A simrad autopilot connected to a seperate 'Simnet' network handles the helm. A Simrad autopilot remote control is also installed.
A fusion satellite ready stereo can be found in the vberth but is also linked to all of the Garmin displays as well as bluetooth from your phone. Two large fusion panel speakers reside in the cabin and two 6.5" fusion speakers are on the flybridge. Lenco Trim tabs with automatic retract handle the boat trim.
A Norcold drawer freezer fridge can be accessed in the galley. It is beside the factory sink which also has a brand new water tank.
The vberth has all new upholstery, headliner, wall liner, teak panelling, a 12 volt 24" flatscreen TV with built in DVD player and pump to sea toilet.
The vessel is powered by twin 300 Evinrude G2's with 500 hours. There is a 7" display and brand new controls on the upper flybridge. The engines have been networked into the Garmin displays as well.
The vessel was painted using AWLgrip 545 primer system and AWLgrip flag blue and Oyster white topcoats. The decks are not gelcoated, but rather they are Gelcoated with an exact color match to extend the durability of the finishes. The window frames also received AWLgrip jet black finishes.
Custom oversized 1 1/4" stainless railings and stairs were fabricated along with 1" Teak stair treads which were custom CNC cut for this boat. The cabin bulkhead was also custom fabricated along with its bifold aluminum doors.
A 15,000lb Aluminum trailer is included in the sale.
Custom removable rear bench seating is currently being completed.
